Your gifts make a real difference. They strengthen our mission, support those in need, and help our church offer connection, compassion, and faith-filled ministry throughout the year. Regular giving, whether through time, talent, or financial support, keeps our work moving forward.

Strengthen Our Church Together Through Regular Giving

Sharing our gifts, whether through tithing or offering our time, strengthens the church’s ability to serve, support, and care for our community. We value your gifts. Give in person on Sundays or mail gifts to: Stanhope UMC, 2 Route 183, Netcong, NJ 07857.

Purchase ShopRite Gift Cards

Purchasing ShopRite gift cards supports Stanhope UMC by returning a portion of each sale to the church. Cards are available in $10, $20, $25, $50, and $100 amounts and can be purchased every Sunday after worship in the front hall. We’re grateful to the ShopRite family for their continued support of our community. Please consider donating ShopRite cards to our Food Pantry in the Glen.

Sponsor Altar Flowers

Mark a special occasion with a $20-$30 sponsorship of our silk altar arrangements (set of two). Your dedication will be listed in the bulletin. For fresh flower sponsorships, please contact the church office.

Care for the Buildings through Restoring Hope: Church & Parsonage Repairs Fund

Love the beautiful church building, stained glass windows, and grounds? We do, too! Help us maintain the historic church building and the parsonage (pastor’s residence) by donating to our Church and Parsonage Historic Preservation Building Repair Fund. Gifts by check can be mailed to Stanhope UMC, 2 Route 183, Netcong, NJ 07857, or dropped in the offering plate in person on Sundays. Please include “building repair fund” in the memo. ♥

Shop and Donate Items to Hope’s Hidden Treasures

Shop secondhand, gently used, and vintage items at Hope’s Hidden Treasures Thrift Shop! Bring your clean, new, or gently used donations during our Saturday business hours, or make an appointment to drop off donations by calling the church office.

Your purchases at the store and/or donations of clothing and other new and gently used items support Stanhope UMC and our mission to maintain our food pantry, provide space for worshipers, people in addiction recovery, and community-based groups and events, and care for those in need.

Donate Food and Time to the Food Pantry

Help support our Food Pantry. Your support, through food or time, directly helps us feed and care for local families. Our food pantry is open on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. We rely on the generosity of our church family and community to keep our shelves stocked and our doors open.

If you’d like to donate nonperishable food or volunteer your time, we’d love to have your support. To arrange a donation or request food outside regular hours, call 973‑347‑0247. Please avoid leaving donations outside when the building is closed. Items left outdoors are often damaged and cannot be shared with families who need them. Thank you for helping us care for our neighbors.
