Journey Through Epiphany Season

Observed each year on January 6, Epiphany marks the journey of the wise men to the infant Jesus and begins a joyful season that continues until the day before Ash Wednesday.

At Stanhope United Methodist Church, the story is symbolized by moving the three wise men figurines from the back of the sanctuary to the nativity—reminding us of their journey and our own call to follow Jesus.
