A quiet, powerful service of scripture, prayer, and reflection as we remember Jesus’ journey to the cross.
Why is it called “Good” Friday?
In English and Dutch, the name likely comes from an older Germanic word meaning “God’s” or “Holy” Friday. Most other languages still use “Holy Friday” today. Good Friday proclaims God’s redeeming love shown through the cross of Jesus Christ, a love strong enough to meet human rejection with mercy. ♥
All are welcome to gather with us on this holy night.
