Palm Sunday commemorates the entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem (Matthew 21:1–9) when palm branches were placed in his path, before his arrest on Holy Thursday and his crucifixion on Good Friday. It marks the beginning of Holy Week, the final week of Lent. “Go into the next village, where you will find a young donkey that has never been ridden. Untie the donkey and bring it here.” (Luke 19:30)
Worshipers are invited to join us in the joyous palm procession praising Jesus as Lord that leads up to the message of His suffering and death, reminding us that the way to Easter joy is the way of the cross. Palms are available for both in-person worship and for early pick-up for local Livestream participants.
